Our tools assist your editors in making informed verification decisions; final editorial judgment always rests with your team.

You agree to use the platform for legitimate editorial purposes only. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content you publish, even when assisted by our verification workflows. You must not upload material that infringes third-party rights, contains unlawful content, or attempts to manipulate the scoring algorithms. You are also responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

We maintain the platform with reasonable skill and care, and we apply industry-standard security measures to protect your workspace data. We provide documentation and support resources to help you configure the tools for your newsroom's specific needs. We do not sell your content or share your editorial data with third parties for advertising purposes. We may use aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve the service, but never in a way that identifies your specific articles or sources.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that our scoring models will always align with your editorial judgment. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Infact is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including loss of data, missed publication deadlines, or reputational harm resulting from editorial decisions made with our tools. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the fees you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

You may stop using the service at any time by closing your account. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms, if we suspect fraudulent or unlawful activity, or if required by law. Upon termination, you may export your workspace data within thirty days; after that period, we may delete stored content in line with our data retention policy. Sections on liability, governing law, and dispute resolution survive termination.

We may update these terms from time to time to reflect changes in the service or legal requirements. We will notify you at least fourteen days before material changes take effect, either by email or through an in-app notice. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you disagree with the changes, you may close your account before they take effect.
